  H hotel is conveniently located on Smith street. It provides an excellent lunch menu at an affordable price. The service is quick and efficient allowing for a relaxed meal over a business discussion.

  Main disadvantage is the noise from normal conversation. Floor is timber, no acoustic tiles on the ceiling and bare walls so the sound bounced around the room.

  Only had dinner there one night. It was a buffet meal for a large group. Reasonable choice, nothing flash but the price was reasonable. All the other diners were FIFO workers.

  When picking a hotel travelling with a newborn things like “room service” are something of a requirement, my experience tonight from a hotel which “provides” room service was being told to come down stairs and collect my order myself, even when I offered to pay extra to have someone bring it to me. I was still told to come down myself. Only when I had to yell at the reception desk and re ask if it was a room service hotel & inform them that at 9pm at night with a newborn child it was extremely difficult to bring the sleeping baby down stairs to collect my order. Eventually after minutes of arguing the staff agreed to bring me my order. Now I’m not petty, and normally I’d probably have no issue walking down stairs, but considering the circumstances this hotel should not be able to advertise to be a “room service” hotel if there not willing to actually deliver room service to paying guests. Not only that my room was not serviced correctly, the bed was made daily and fresh towels provided, but cutlery and coffee glasses were not washed or replaced, the room did not provide anything to wash these ourselves, no dishwashing liquid, or tea towels or anything except a bathroom sink, so I presume they should have been serviced however day 5 and the coffee cup is still dirty from Monday.
